Terms of sale

These terms govern every order placed on emoria.art with Noor Labs Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under number 17380538, whose registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom, hereafter “Emoria”, “we”. They apply to printed pieces as well as to digital ones. By completing an order, you accept them.

Every piece is personalised: you compose its subject, its palette, its text and its size in our editor. The preview shown at the time of the order is the authoritative record of the composition. You alone are responsible for the text you write on it. Please check the spelling of names and dates before ordering, as they are printed exactly as written.

Printing is a physical process: slight shifts in shade compared with your screen are normal and do not constitute a defect.

The room settings shown on this site (pieces hung on a wall, set in a frame or standing on a shelf) are computer-generated images, meant to give a sense of scale and finish. They are illustrative only: the room, the lighting, the props and the apparent proportions form no part of the contract. What does form part of it is your own composition, as the editor’s preview shows it at the time of the order, together with the size and finish you chose. Frame colours and materials are reproduced as closely as we can, without any guarantee that they will match your screen exactly.

Prices are displayed in the currency of your delivery zone. They include delivery, and sales taxes where the law of the delivery country requires it (in particular the European Union, the United Kingdom and Australia); in the United States and Canada, any applicable local taxes are added at payment. The price is rechecked by our servers at the moment of payment: it is that amount, shown to you before confirmation, that you are charged.

Payment is made online, through Stripe. The order is firm once payment is confirmed; you then receive a confirmation email setting out the piece, the size and the amount. We reserve the right to refuse an order in the event of an obvious anomaly (a pricing error, suspected fraud): it is then refunded in full.

Your pieces are printed on demand, in a workshop chosen as close as possible to your address. Allow 2 to 5 working days for production as a rule, then the standard transit time for your country. An email tells you when the parcel ships, with tracking when the carrier provides it.

We print in your region precisely in order to avoid customs charges. If import duties were nonetheless to apply in your country, they would remain payable by the recipient.

Our printed pieces are made to your specifications: in accordance with article 16 (c) of Directive 2011/83/EU and with equivalent national legislation (including article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013), the right of withdrawal does not apply to personalised goods.

For digital pieces (the high resolution file, the edition without a watermark), supply begins as soon as payment is made, with your express consent: you then waive your right of withdrawal, as provided by article 16 (m) of the same Directive.

This legal framework does not stop us being accommodating: if there is a problem, write to us, we always look for a solution.

You have the benefit of the statutory guarantees of conformity of your country. If your order arrives damaged, has a printing defect or does not match the preview you approved, write to us at hello@emoria.art or from your account (under Help and support, which lets you attach photographs) within 30 days, with photographs: we reprint and reship at our expense, or refund you, whichever you prefer.

The files you export, free or paid, are licensed to you for personal use: display, printing for yourself or as a gift. Resale, commercial distribution and print runs are not permitted. Free exports carry a Emoria watermark; it disappears on ordered pieces and purchased files.

The text you write on a piece must not infringe any right or any law. We may refuse to print manifestly unlawful content; the order is then refunded.

These terms are governed by English law. If you order as a consumer from another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and you may bring a dispute before the courts of your domicile. Before any proceedings, write to us: very nearly every disagreement is settled in a few emails.
